Message: I aggree that the preaching of the word should play a very important role in the services I attend, but the bible does NOT specificaly lay out an agenda for the structure of a church service today...i.e...should the offering be recieved first or last?....how many songs should be sung?....where does technology come into play with our modern church?...should someone preach every night... The bible says.... Well, my brothers and sisters, let's summarize what I am saying. When you meet, one will sing, another will teach, another will tell some special revelation God has given, one will speak in an unknown language, while another will interpret what is said. But everything that is done must be useful to all and build them up in the Lord. NLT 1Cor14:26.....So inconclusion just as we do not have tongues and iterpretation evrey night or some special revelation every service, I feel certain nights it is not necessary to teach... Also at times we may put to much responsibily on the Pastors of our churches to do somthing every service that we ourselves are not willing to do...God Bless Replies to this post No replies yet |
